Management

• Sooty mold can be remove by spraying with starch solution 1% (100 g in 10 lit of water) wettable sulphur 0.3% (30 g in 10 lit of water). Spraying of Dithane Z-78 @ 40 g/lit of water is also suggested.
• Spray with systemic insecticides like dimethoate @ 1.7 ml/lit for the management of sucking insect pests.
• Spray of either mancozeb @ 20 g or carbendazim @ 5 g in 10 lit of water under severe disease incidence
