Neolithic Agricultural Revolution (7500 BC – 6500 BC)

1. The birthplace of the Neolithic agriculture revolution was Western Asia.
2. Region of wild ancestors of two major cereals, wheat and barley.
3. Domesticated animals like goat, sheep, pig and cattle are found.
4. The period from 7500 – 6500 BC was in real sense of discovery of agriculture.
5. Polished stone axe and sickle were used for the cultivation of crop.
6. House built of locally materials.
7. Problem of storage, pots were required.
8. Weaving was another landmark from flax and wool.
9. For the first time, he lived in settled villages.
