Spacing
- For local variety - 60 cm x 20 cm
- For hybrid - 60-75 x 20-25 cm
- Seeds should be sown 5-7 cm deep. Plant population of 60-65 thousand plants/ha (for composite varieties) and about 75 thousand plants/ha (for hybrid varieties) should be maintained for achieving the maximum yield.
