FYM @ 15 to 20 CL/ha should be applied and incorporated in the soil at the time of field preparation. Apply 250 kg Gypsum/ha under north Gujarat conditions.

25-50-0 kg NPK per ha as basal before sowing

Application of sulphur @ 20 kg/ha is found beneficial if the soils are deficient in sulphur.
