- The quantity of manure and fertilizers in watermelon depends upon availability of nutrient present in the soil, which is known by soil testing.FYM @ 20-30 t/ha applied 15-20 days before sowing of seed
- Apply general fertilizer dose of 150 kg N, 50 kg P2O5 and 50 kg K2O per hectare. 1/2 N along with other fertilizers should be given as basal and rest N should be top dressed in two split doses at 30 days interval.
- Two foliar sprays of micronutrient increase yield and quality of fruits.
