FERTILIZER MANAGEMENT:

1. Apply general fertilizer dose of 100 kg N, 80 kg P2O5 and 60 kg K2O per hectare for open pollinated improved verities. 1/2 N along with other fertilizers should be given as basal and rest N should be top dressed in two split doses at 30 days interval after transplanting.
2. Apply 200 kg N, 100 kg P2O and 80 kg K2O per hectare for the hybrids. 1/2 N along with other fertilizers should be given as basal and rest N should be top dressed in three split doses at 30 days interval after transplanting.
3. Two foliar sprays of 0.5% ZnSO4 and single spray of 0.15% CuSO4 increase yield and quality of fruits.

Application of biofertilizers:

1. Apply vermicompost @ 4-6t/ha as broadcasting during final land preparation.
2. Apply Azotobacter @ 800g/ha or Phosphate Solublizing Bacteria @ 800g/ha seedling root dip.
