Nature of damage:

Nymph and adults suck the cell sap from the lower surface of the leaf.
On infected leaves, yellowish patches and webbing is observed on the laves.
Heavily infested leaves gives metallic appearance and latter on dry up. Crops looks red in colour.

Management :

Spraying the crop with dicofol 18.5 % EC – 0.03 % 18 ml or methyl-o-demeton 25 % EC -0.025-10 ml or propergite 57 % EC 16-25 ml or milbectin 1 % EC 0.00045% 4.5 ml in 10 litre of water.
