Nature of damage:

The nymphs and adults suck juice from the seeds which fail to ripen.
Reduce the oil content of seeds.
They also stain the lint when crushed during ginning.

Management :

Spraying the crop with phosalone 35% EC 0.07 or carbaryl 50 % WP 0.20 %.
