NOTE: In rainfed / arid crop the fertilizers should be given with onset of monsoon, while in irrigated crop, the dose of Nitrogen should be applied in two splits: first in June –July and second in February-March with irrigation at pea size stage of mango fruit.

Fertilizer applied during Feb-March support to give out new vegetative growth which is helpful for flowering in the next year. It is also useful in checking small fruit drop and increasing the fruit size. All the quantity of manures and fertilizer should be given in the ring dug out 30 cm deep and 1.5 to 2 m away.
